I’m sitting here on the porch enjoying an IPA on a balmy 60 degree February evening, not really giving much thought about the week ahead. This has been the strangest winter ever. My family on the East Coast is bracing for an intense snow storm, and I’m out here in shorts and starting to see my trees begin to bud.
It’s hard to think about all the hours I’ll be stuck inside, especially with it being so warm so early this year (though really it never really got cold in the first place). My daughter is loving spending all this time outside though, and that makes me smile.
I’m itching to be sitting in the stands watching baseball with a hot dog in one hand, and a draft beer in the other. It won’t be long.
